A Note from Executive Director, Pam Lewis
Aster Estates has its roots in our family’s legacy of serving seniors. My dad, Clarence Johansen, worked for long-term-care entities for many years and wanted to be more personally involved. Dad and my mom, Doris, opened Cherry Village in 1978 at Great Bend.
I immediately became administrator and held that position until July 2018. Serving seniors is still part of me. Now I want to serve in a new, more homelike setting.
My son, Jeremy, and daughter-in-law, Erin, also are committed to Aster Estates. It really is in our blood.
To demonstrate what this means to us, my mom and I live here. We understand what it’s like to sell a family home and start living a new life. We will make the transition as smooth as possible.
